Brinkman Colombia has partnered with Coolechera, the largest milk producer cooperative in Colombia’s Atlantic Region, and CATIE, the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center, to advance sustainable land-use solutions. Together, the partners are working with farmers to integrate climate-enhanced silvopasture systems—a practice that combines trees, forage, and livestock in ways that improve soil health, increase productivity, and support biodiversity.
These partnerships reflect a shared commitment to building resilient rural livelihoods while restoring ecosystems. By blending local expertise, community knowledge, and innovative forestry practices, the collaboration aims to create lasting environmental, social, and economic benefits for Colombia.
