Dr. Peter Klein is a Professor of finance at the SFU Beedie School of Business. Prior to joining SFU, he spent 10 years in various capital markets roles at CIBC/Wood Gundy in Toronto, Tokyo and London. Peter has served as a trustee and chair of the SFU academic pension plan and was the founding faculty advisor for the Student Investment Advisory Service and Beedie Endowment Asset Management, student-managed investment portfolios. He is a licensed portfolio manager and has been Managing Partner and CIO of BullWealth since 2014.
Peter has a Ph.D. in Finance University of Toronto, is a Chartered Professional Accountant/Certified General Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator and Chartered Financial Analyst. He also has an LL.B., M.B.A., Joint Program, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Western Ontario.
Peter spends most of his time skiing, hiking, canoeing and surfing in the great outdoors with family and friends.
